JAKARTA - PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) again held the Honda Modif Contest (HMC) 2026 as a venue for Honda motorcycle modifiers and fans to showcase their creativity.
Entering the 12th edition, Honda's largest modification competition carries the #Ridecreation theme which combines the concepts of Modification, Entertainment, and Collaboration. The 2026 HMC series will take place from August 8 to October 24, 2026 in nine cities.
Namely, Denpasar, Medan, Pekanbaru, Bandung, Banjarmasin, Makassar, Samarinda, Solo, and Surabaya. All winners from each region will meet in the Final Battle to compete for the national champion title.
AHM opens various competition classes that are tailored to the modification character of the participants. For motorcycles from 2010 onwards, there are Matic & Cub Stock/Bolt On, Matic & Cub Advance, Matic & Cub Community Touring, Sport Community Touring, All Sport (Naked & Fairing), and Show Off classes.
Meanwhile, pre-2010 production motorcycles can compete in the All Stock & Advance class. The Racing Style and Free For All classes are open to all Honda motorcycle models.
In the Final Battle round, the champions from each class will compete for the title of National Champion Matic & Cub, National Champion Sport, and National Champion Ultimate. The three best modifiers are also entitled to participate in the Honda Dream Ride Project program as a form of appreciation and a platform for developing their abilities at the national level.
In addition to the main category, HMC 2026 also presents a number of Special Achievement awards. The categories include Best Retro Scoopy, Best Retro Stylo, Best Big Scooter for Honda PCX160, Best Xplorer for Honda ADV160, Best Matic Proper for Honda Vario 125 and Honda Vario 160, Best Skuter Kalcer for Honda Scoopy and Honda Stylo160, Best Fun Community, Best Crowd Favorite, Best Media Pick, to Best Regional Series which adapts the modification character in each region.
General Manager of the Marketing Planning & Analysis Division of AHM, Andy Wijaya, said that HMC is a form of the company's commitment to providing space for Honda motorcycle modification enthusiasts and modification enthusiasts to continue their work.
