Realization Of Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution Reaches 2.8 Million Tons

BEKASI - PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) noted that the distribution of subsidized fertilizers has reached more than 2.8 million tons as of May 21, 2025. The allocation of subsidized fertilizers this year is 9.5 million tons.

President Director of Pupuk Indonesia Rahmad Pribadi said that the realization of subsidized fertilizer distribution had reached 31.67 percent of the total distribution contract with the government of 9 million tons.

"If the allocation is 9.5 million tons. Until now, what has been distributed is 2.8 million tons. And it has exceeded the last 3 years. This means that if fertilizer absorption increases, it is certain that production will increase," he said in Srimahi Village, North Tambun, Bekasi Regency, West Java, Thursday, May 22.

In detail, the urea ralization fertilizer reached 1,367,917 tons or 31.12 percent of the total contracts with the government amounted to 4,395,307 tons. Then, NPK 15 10 12 12 as many as 1,378,985 tons or 34.21 percent of the total contracts amounted to 4,030,902 tons.

Then, the special formula NPK is 21,434 tons or 20.88 percent of the total fertilizer distribution contract with the government of 102,652 tons. Meanwhile, the realization of organic fertilizer distribution reached 90,721 tons or 18.14 percent of the total contract with the government of 500,000 tons.

For your information, there is a government contract regulation in accordance with the application of subsidized fertilizers in 2025 in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Agriculture (Kepmentan). If in accordance with the rules, the allocation of subsidized fertilizers is actually 9,550,000 tons.

However, this year the government only entered into a contract with Pupuk Indonesia at the expense of 9,028,861 tons. Thus, the quota is actually distributed to beneficiaries of farmers.

When asked about the most distributions carried out in which areas, Rahmad said that the distribution of fertilizers was actually evenly distributed because all areas were entering the rice planting period.

"Now, this is a rice barn. Everything grows starting from East Java, followed by Central Java. God willing, West Java will soon enter the planting season," he said.
