Knock! Yodya Karya Officially Changed To Agrinas Pangan Nusantara

JAKARTA - PT Yodya Karya (Persero), a state-owned company known as a engineering consulting service company, until project management officially changed to PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara (Persero). The company will take care of businesses in the agricultural sector.

The change in the name and direction of the Yodya Karya business was officially announced at the launch of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara at the Bloc Jakarta Post, Wednesday, May 14.

Deputy Minister of SOEs Kartika Wirjoatmodjo explained that this transformation is part of the government's great efforts to encourage food self-sufficiency.

"This is part of the big vision of President Prabowo Subianto's Father in Asta Cita to build not only food self-sufficiency. But to make Indonesia a world food barn," he said at the launch of the Nusantara Food Agrinas at the Bloc Jakarta Post, Wednesday, May 14.

The man who is familiarly called Tiko said that the presence of Agrinas Pangan Nusantara was also to strengthen the role of BUMN as a national development agent.

"Maybe later we can organize farmers, provide assistance in terms of technology, mechanization and off taker so that later farmers can increase their income and increase the exchange rate of farmers," he said.

Tiko said developing an agricultural ecosystem is a top priority. Therefore, he said, Agrinas will play a role in agricultural diversification and the application of modern agricultural technology.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sudaryono said Agrinas would not only focus on the downstream side, but would also be active from upstream to post-harvest.

So far, almost no company has been present upstream, almost no one wants to plant rice, now Agrinas must want to plant rice even in difficult places by empowering the community there, which also absorbs Agrinas," said Sudaryono.

Sudaryono said Agrinas had received a mandate from President Prabowo Subianto to accelerate agricultural productivity to manage food estates.

"Agrinas Food is one of the milestones of the success of our food transformation is how food estate management is," he explained.

In addition, Sudaryono also said that Prabowo had launched a new rice field printing of 425,000 hectares (Ha) which would be carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and would be managed by Agrinas Pangan.

Where 225,000 ha will be worked on in the areas of South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, and South Sumatra. Meanwhile, another 200,000 ha are spread across Wanam, Merauke Regency, and South Papua.

"Just standing up, just literate, only then does Agrinas Pangan Street already have or already manages it at the end of this year 425,000 ha rice fields," he said.
