Commemorating The Month Of K3, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Together With The DKI Provincial Government Hand Over Compensation Of Hundreds Of Millions Of Rupiah

JAKARTA - In commemoration of the 2025 National Work Safety and Health Month (K3), the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Office held a series of activities in the Ancol Beach area, last Saturday, April 12.

One of the important agendas in this activity is the delivery of compensation from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to the heirs of participants who experience work risks.

The symbolic handover of compensation was carried out by the Regional Secretary of DK Jakarta Province, Marullah Matali, together with the Head of the DKI Jakarta BPJS Regional Office, Chairul Arianto.

Compensation is given to the four heirs of the participants, namely:

- Nelmi, heir to the late Supriyadi (worker at Enseval Putra Megatrading), received: Work Accident Guarantee (JKK): IDR 287,100,000, Old Age Security (JHT) IDR 47,279,770, Scholarships: IDR 155,500,000

- Nurwahidah Mela, heir of Ruswandi (PHL at the East Jakarta Region I Education Office), received: Death Security (JKM): IDR 42,000,000, Scholarships: IDR 135,000,000

- Elda, heir of Taufik Hidayat (Gojek partner), received: JKK: IDR 70,000,000, Scholarships: IDR 149,500,000

- Muhammad Yusup, heir of Sutarmiati ( RT RW management in Kalibaru Village, Cilincing), received: JKM: IDR 42,000,000

In addition, Job Loss Guarantee (JKP) compensation was also given to Chritian Pasta with a total value of Rp. 18,000,000.

"This compensation is a participant's right that we must distribute to the heirs. We want to ensure that the protection from the BPJS Employment program really reaches and is beneficial for the families left behind," said Chairul Arianto.

He also emphasized the importance of the company's awareness and workers of the social protection of employment provided by the state. BPJS Employment actively commemorates the National K3 Month every year through seminars, education, campaigns, and guidance of K3 personnel to strengthen the labor protection system.

This K3 Month commemoration is an important momentum to raise awareness of the importance of job protection. Meanwhile, the Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Jakarta Gambir Branch, M. Reza Sahria, emphasized his party's commitment to continue educating workers and companies in the Jakarta Gambir area to consistently implement K3 culture.
