Three Captains Behind PT Medela Potentia Tbk's IPO

JAKARTA - PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), one of the leading health companies in Indonesia, is preparing to carry out an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on April 15, 2025.

In this corporate action, Medela Potentia will offer 3,500,000,000 shares, which is equivalent to 25 percent of the total issued and fully paid capital of the company. The funds obtained from this IPO will be used for Working Capital, warehouse purchases, additional factory capacity and development of the company's digital ecosystem.

The company's financial position is also in a solid position and shows a positive trend, with a compound annual revenue growth (CAGR) of 11.8 percent from 2021 to 2023.

The stable gross profit margin at 9.4 percent in the last four years reflects the company's resilience in dealing with market dynamics while maintaining profitability. The company also recorded a gross profit growth with CAGR of 11.9 percent in three years, reaching IDR 1.23 trillion in 2023 from IDR 1.08 trillion in 2021.

As one of the largest integrated health care business groups in Indonesia, PT Medela Potentia Tbk. Krestijanto Pandji Sang Konductor

Serving as President Director since 2022, Krestijanto Pandji is responsible for the company's strategy, operations, and financial aspects. With more than 18 years of experience in the health industry, he played a key role in developing the business and market expansion of PT Medela Potentia Tbk. (MDLA).

As a leader, Krestijanto has a leadership philosophy that he likened to a conductor in an orchestra. He believes that the company's success does not depend on just one individual, but on solid teamwork. "There is no Superman in business, only the Super Team," he said. Like a conductor who does not play musical instruments but directs all musicians to create harmony, he ensures that every team member at Medela Potentia can contribute optimally according to his role and expertise.

With this philosophy, Krestijanto encourages a collaborative and innovative and delegative work culture at PT Medela Potentia. He believes that effective leadership is about providing clear direction, supporting the potential of each individual, and creating a dynamic and synergy work environment.

His career began in the information technology sector as System Analyst at Landis and Gyrs System Corporation in 1989-1991, then as Manufacturing and Business Consultant at Oracle Corporation in 1991-1994.

In 2006, he began working in the health industry by joining PT Ferron Par Pharmaceuticals and served as President Director in 2016. Under his leadership, the company managed to penetrate the European market and won the Primaniyarta award from the Indonesian Ministry of Trade as a pioneer in the new market and global brand building.

He has also been active in various industrial organizations, including as Chairman at the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) since 2009. In addition, he represented the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as Deputy Chair of the Permanent Committee of the Pharmaceutical Industry since 2022 and served as Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Pharmaceutical Companies DKI Jakarta.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Washington in 1988 and a Master of Electronic Engineering & Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 1989. Krestijanto also studied at The Wharton School of Finance, The University of Pennsylvania (2019 2021), which deepens his understanding of financial strategies and asset management.

Edbert Orotodan The Business Architect

Edbert Orotodan has served as Director since 2019 and is responsible for the field of law, business development, human resources, and procurement. With more than 25 years of experience in the health industry, he has an important role in ensuring sustainable business growth.

As a Business Architect, Edbert Orotodan has the ability to formulate a sustainable growth strategy. He developed a strategic initiative that strengthens the company's competitiveness. With a structured and analytical approach, he built a strong foundation for expansion and innovation at PT Medela Potentia Tbk. (MDLA).

His career began in 1999 at one of the subsidiaries, namely PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) as Deputy Branch Head, before later serving as Head of Business & Infrastructure in 2009. Since 2010, he has been trusted as Director of PT Djembatan Dua, one of the subsidiaries and was a Commissioner of PT Equilab International in 2014-2018. Currently, he has also served as Commissioner of AAM since 2020.

Edbert earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Surabaya Institute of Technology in 1996 and the Management Master from the PPM School of Management in 1998.

Wimala Widjaja The Innovator Of Health Technology

Serving as Director since 2022, Wimala Widjaja has been responsible for the development of information technology, digital initiatives, and risk management at PT Medela Potentia Tbk. (MDLA). With more than 18 years of experience in the health industry, he has played a major role in building digital infrastructure that encourages the efficiency and innovation of companies in the health sector.

Since childhood, Wimala has shown high curiosity for the world of technology. The hobby of dismantling and repairing electronic equipment at home is the beginning of his journey. This interest then grew into a strong foundation for his brilliant career in the field of information technology.

His career began at IBM Indonesia, where he served in various positions to become Director of Operations in 1979-1998, then continued as Operations Executive at IBM Asia Pacific in 1998-2004. In 2005, he joined Dexa Group as Corporate Chief Information Officer of PT Dexa Medica until 2010, leading the development of the company's information technology system and infrastructure.

He later became President Director of PT Dexa Medica in 2017-2021 and succeeded in making PT Equilab International a leading Contact Research Organization in Southeast Asia since joining as Director in 2010. In addition, he has also served as Commissioner of PT GUE since 2016 and PT KITA, one of the subsidiaries, since 2022.

Wimala won a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Communications from the University of Indonesia in 1979 and the Financial Master from Macquarie University, Australia in 2007. Under the leadership of these three directors, PT Medela Potentia Tbk. has achieved consistent growth and strengthened its position as one of the main players in the health industry.
