Prabowo Affirms THR For Private Workers, BUMN And BUMD Are Given No Later Than 7 Days Before Eid Al-Fitr

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto announced the awarding of holiday bonuses to private workers, employees of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) for Eid Al-Fitr 2025.

Based on a meeting with the Minister of Manpower, Cabinet Secretary Minister and Minister of State Secretary, Prabowo decided to give holiday allowances (THR) to BUMN, BUMD and private employees to be given no later than 7 days before the holiday.

"I ask that the THR for private workers, BUMN and BUMD be given no later than 7 days before Eid al-Fitr," he said, Monday, March 10.

The THR mechanism will be announced by the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli through a Circular.

Meanwhile, Civil Servants had previously been determined earlier than the previous year.

Spokesperson for the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Haryo Limanseto conveyed that the disbursement for ASN no later than 3 weeks before Eid and the Government had prepared a budget of IDR 50 trillion for THR disbursement for ASN in 2025.

According to Haryo, the acceleration of THR disbursement aims to significantly increase people's purchasing power, strengthen domestic consumption, and encourage economic turnover in various sectors, especially trade and services.

"This policy is expected to have a positive impact on macroeconomic stability and support the achievement of economic growth targets in the first quarter of 2025," he explained in his statement, Monday, March 3.
