Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Toll Road Kulon Progo Opened Limited During Eid Al-Fitr 2025 Homecoming, Here's The Schedule

JAKARTA - The government has ensured that some sections of the Solo 'Yogyakarta' TOll road YIA Kulon Progo will function on a limited basis during the 2025 Eid homecoming period.

Some of these sections are the 6.7 kilometer Prambanan 'Purwomartani section. This toll road project is not yet fully operational, but will be opened functionally to facilitate the flow of homecoming.

The decision aims to unravel congestion, especially in the Klaten' Prambanan section, which has been a crucial point during the holiday season.

"God willing, it can be functionalized for Eid 2025," said Dody as quoted from his written statement, Tuesday, February 25.

Dody said the operation was focused on reducing congestion at the Prambanan toll exit point, which during the holiday season often experienced severe congestion.

The Prambanan 'Purwomartani' section is actually 11.48 kilometers long. However, not all of them are functionalized. The lines to be opened are limited to Sta 30+875 to Sta 37+650.

The only route that is opened is lane B and is intended for Class I vehicles.

The plan is that the section will be opened from 06.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB, but can change according to the discretion of the police. The temporary toll exit will be placed on the LPMP road, Sleman Regency.

Meanwhile, during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays (Nataru 2024/2025), the Klaten section of the Prambanan experienced severe congestion due to the increase in vehicle volume.

Therefore, with the function of the Prambanan 'Purwomartani toll road, it is hoped that vehicles from Solo to Yogyakarta and vice versa will have a smoother alternative route.

It is known, the total length of the Yogyakarta 'NYIA' Solo Toll Road alone has reached 96.5 kilometers, of which 22.3 kilometers are currently fully operational.

Later, during the Lebaran 2025 homecoming period, the 8.6-kilometer-long Klaten Section of the Prambanan will be fully functionalized, while the 6.7-kilometer Prambanan 'Purwomartani section will operate on a limited basis.
