Impact Of Fuel Rising, Fast Ship Ticket Price Express Bahari Tanjung Pandan-Pangkalpinang Rising 15 Percent

PANGKALPINANG - The ticket price for the Express Bahari 3 E fast boat for the Tanjung Pandan-Pang port route rose 15 percent due to the increase in subsidized fuel oil (BBM) prices.

"Starting on September 8, we will adjust the fare for the Express Bahari 3 E fast boat on the Tanjung Pandan - Pangkal Pinang port route (PP)", said Head of PT Pelayaran Sakti Inti Makmur (SIM) Belitung Branch, Ivan Febrianto, quoted from Antara, Monday, September 12.

According to him, the company made adjustments to the speedboat tariff due to the impact of the increase in subsidized fuel prices of diesel types which reached 32 percent.

"This condition inevitably made us have to make tariff adjustments of Rp. 25,000 per class," he said.

He said the price of VIP class tickets rose to Rp. 300,000 from the previous price of Rp. 265,000, the executive class to Rp. 250,000, up from the previous Rp. 200,000.

"The tariff adjustment does not include port and insurance," he said.

Ivan explained that the increase in fuel prices of the type of diesel subsidy had an impact on the increase in ship operational costs.

"Because the increase in fuel prices caused the price of the candang and oil tribes to increase and other needs so that management finally decided to adjust the tariff," he said.
