Conglomerate Company Mochtar Riady Raises IDR 805 Billion Proceeds From Selling 1.66 Billion Multipolar Shares

JAKARTA - The company owned by the family of Lippo conglomerate boss, Mochtar Riady, PT Inti Anugerah Pratama has released its 1.66 billion shares in the multi-sector holding issuer, PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL). From the sale of the shares, Inti Anugerah Pratama earned IDR 805.75 billion.

In the information disclosure, quoted on Friday, October 8, Multipolar Corporate Secretary, Natalie Lie, said that this is by Article 2 of OJK Regulation No. 11/POJK.04/2017 concerning Ownership Report or Any Change in Share Ownership of a Public Company.

"The company has received information from PT Inti Anugerah Pratama through letter No. 211/IAP/X/2021 dated October 7, 2021, that PT Inti Anugerah Pratama has sold its shares in the company," Natalie said.

The company also reported that PT Inti Anugerah Pratama had sold 1,663,888,900 shares in the company or 11.37 percent. The MLPL shareholder sold the company's shares to divest with a selling price per share of IDR 484.26 per share with a transaction date of September 30 to October 5, 2021.

Previously, Inti Anugerah Pratama had a 66.47 percent stake in MLPL, which was 9.73 billion shares. After the share sale was made, the company now holds 55.11 percent of the shares or 8.07 billion shares.

In addition to Inti Anugerah Pratama, Connery Asia Limited's shares are also owned by 4.78 percent or 699.86 million shares. In addition, the company's commissioner, Jeffrey K. Wonsono also owns 72,678 shares of MLPL, while the public owns 28.75 percent of the company's shares, which is 4.21 billion shares.
