JAKARTA - After annexing retail company PT Supra Boga Lestari Tbk (RANC) aka Ranch Market, PT Global Digital Niaga or Blibli.com hopes that this synergy can accelerate the omnichannel solution of the two companies.

Omnichannel is a system that allows buyers to use more than one sales channel. Generally, the channels that are combined are physical stores, e-commerce, mobile commerce (m-commerce), and social media.

Blibli CEO & Co-Founder Kusumo Martanto expressed this hope to develop services to fulfill daily needs by providing a complete retail experience, both online and offline to customers.

"The synergy of the two companies, supported by this technological capability, is expected to further accelerate and strengthen the omnichannel solutions of the two entities," Kusumo said in a written statement, quoted on Sunday, October 3.

Through this synergy, MSME players who are partners in product providers in the Ranch Market Group have the opportunity to further expand the distribution of their products throughout Indonesia through the Blibli technology and business ecosystem.

On the other hand, said Kusumo, Blibli's MSME partners were also finally able to increase their distribution channels to target more loyal customers from the Ranch Market Group.

"Furthermore, this agreement is expected to explore more opportunities for business development and expansion of a solid business ecosystem for both parties," said Kusumo.

As is known, Blibli has completed the takeover with a total of 797.89 million RANC shares, or about 51 percent of the issued capital. Blibli acquired ownership of 7 RANC shareholders, namely PT Wijaya Sumber Sejahtera, PT Prima Rasa Inti, PT Gunaprima Karyaperkasa, PT Ekaputri Mandiri, Dr. David Kusumodjojo, Suhamo Kusumodjojo, and Harman Siswanto.

The takeover of shares resulted in a change in control of RANC. The shares were purchased at a price of IDR 2.550 per share, bringing the total value of the takeover transaction to IDR 2.03 trillion.

The beneficiaries of Blibli are the two richest people in Indonesia who are also owners of the Djarum Group, namely Robert Budi Hartono and Bambang Hartono. As a result of the takeover, Blibli will carry out a mandatory tender offer in accordance with Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulation no.9/2021.
