JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, said he would increase collaboration with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) to facilitate access to capital for creative economy actors.

"We want to increase cooperation with PNM, perhaps in the capacity of MoUs and cooperation agreements to provide access to 34 million creative and creative actors who need a touch of capital assistance from PNM," said Sandiaga during his visit to the PNM office in Cimahi, West Java, as reported by Antara, Friday, September 10th.

He explained that PNM as a state-owned enterprise engaged in business capital could facilitate access to capital for tourism and creative economy (Ekraf) actors.

He said, there are several Kemenparekraf programs that can be collaborated with PNM. Among them are financial class programs, business meetings, and tourism village development.

"Hopefully this will all become a momentum of blessing and hopefully become positive energy for us to be more optimistic, rise and advance the Indonesian economy," said Sandiaga in a written statement.

In addition, Sandiaga also encouraged creative and creative actors from among women and mothers to join PNM, which has the Fostering a Prosperous Family Economy (Mekaar) program. It is known that there are 10.8 million women entrepreneurs who have joined the Mekaar PNM program.

"These women micro entrepreneurs will be given additional and specific support in carrying out their business continuity," said Sandiaga.

On the same occasion, the Business Director of PNM Kindaris said his party was ready to collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to develop MSMEs in Cimahi and other areas in Indonesia.
