Airports Managed By Angkasa Pura II, Namely Soekarno Hatta, Kualanamu, Etc. Prepare 3.500 Doses Of COVID-19 Vaccine Per Day

JAKARTA - Airport operations managed by PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II prepare as many as 3.500 vaccine doses per day at all airport vaccination centers. AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that prospective airplane passengers are required to show a vaccination card and a PCR test result letter.

"AP II together with stakeholders are committed so that the air transportation sector can continue to contribute to maintaining flight connectivity in Indonesia, support urgent community travel, and support the handling of COVID-19", he said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, July 6.

He said that based on the Circular of the Minister of Transportation Number 45 of 2021, airplane passengers with routes to/from Java and Bali are required to show a vaccination card for at least the first dose and PCR test results whose samples are taken a maximum of 2x24 hours before departure.

In order to support aircraft passengers to comply with these regulations, AP II airports operate vaccination centers.

"AP II fully supports the Java-Bali Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) on July 3-20, 2021 as a joint effort in handling COVID-19. In line with that, AP II together with all stakeholders coordinate closely to open vaccination centers at airports for prospective airplane passengers", he said.

The following is information on operating hours (WIB) for vaccination centers that have been opened at AP II airports:

1. Soekarno-Hatta - Tangerang (Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, 08.00 a.m. - 17.00 p.m.)

2. Halim Perdanakusuma - Jakarta (GMH Clinic, 08.00 a.m. - 15.00 p.m.)

3. Husein Sastranegara - Bandung (08.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.)

4. Banyuwangi (06.30 a.m. - 13.30 p.m.)

5. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin - Palembang (08.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.)

6. HAS Hanandjoeddin - Belitung (07.00 a.m. - 15.00 p.m.)

7. Fatmawati Soekarno - Bengkulu (08.00 a.m. - 17.00 p.m.)

8. Sultan Thaha - Jambi (08.00 a.m. - 17.00 p.m.)

9. Sultan Iskandar Muda - Aceh (10.00 a.m. - 15.00 p.m.)

10. Sultan Syarif Kasim II - Pekanbaru (08.00 a.m. - 14.00 p.m.)

11. Kuanalamu - Deli Serdang (09.00 a.m. - 15.00 p.m.)

To accommodate the requests and needs of prospective passengers, he said, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Vaccination Center will be open 24 hours. On July 3-4, 2021, 1.914 people were recorded to have vaccinated the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Vaccination Center.

"The appeal to stay at home and only travel if it is urgent for the Java-Bali Emergency PPKM is obeyed by the community, as can be seen from the movement of aircraft passengers at AP II airports which decreased by 70 percent on July 5 compared to traffic before the implementation of Emergency PPKM", said Muhammad Awaluddin.
