Moeldoko: Ivermectin Has Been Proven To Reduce Nearly 100 Percent Of COVID-19 Cases In Depok To East Semarang

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Farmers Harmony Association (HKTI) Moeldoko admitted that his party had distributed Ivermectin to a number of areas. He also claimed that Ivermectin was effective in treating COVID-19 patients, including those in Depok to East Semarang.

"Based on temporary data, reports in the field on the results carried out by HKTI in several regions on the use of Ivermectin. In Tangerang City, East Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, the efficacy level in almost all regions is close to 100 percent to reduce COVID-19 cases", he said in a virtual discussion, Monday, June 28.

Furthermore, Moeldoko also claimed that Ivermectin, known as an anthelmintic, was also able to reduce COVID-19 cases in East Semarang, Sragen, and Kudus.

"Seeing this provisional data, we are quite optimistic that Ivermectin can be an effective drug solution to cure COVID-19 patients", he said.

In addition, Moeldoko revealed the reason he distributed Ivermectin. According to him, this is due to the condition of the spread of COVID-19 which is currently increasingly widespread and continues to increase. Therefore, he dared to share Ivermectin as an alternative that was proven to be effective.

Furthermore, Moeldoko said that he was in a critical condition at this time and he could not just standstill. Moreover, he said, the COVID-19 vaccination has not been evenly distributed throughout Indonesia.

"In facing this critical situation, should we be silent? I don't think so. We must do something, silence is a risk of death. Doing something is not necessarily death. A choice. It is a wise choice to do something", he explained.

Previously, Moeldoko said that Ivermectin had been used in various countries. According to the Front Line Covid Critical Care or FLCCC Alliance, 33 countries have used Ivermectin in dealing with COVID-19. These include Brazil, Zimbabwe, Japan, and India.

"Based on the American Journal there is a study involving 3.406 participants divided into 15 clinical trials that have proven or proven that Ivermectin can overcome COVID-19 by 90 percent", he said.
