JAKARTA - The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) recorded the realization of the distribution of People's Business Loans (KUR) as of July 12, 2026 has reached Rp. 159.8 trillion or 54.2 percent of the national target of Rp. 295 trillion.

Secretary of the Ministry of MSME Loto Srinaita Ginting said that the funding had been disbursed to around 2.5 million MSME debtors.

Of this amount, Loto said 1.1 million were new debtors or 83.5 percent of this year's target.

Meanwhile, the graduation debtors were recorded as many as 511,208 debtors or 46.2 percent of the target.

"The distribution of KUR to the production sector has reached Rp. 103.2 trillion or 64.6 percent of the target. We hope to be able to exceed the target of 65 percent," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, July 13.

The government targets the distribution of KUR of IDR 295 trillion this year, with 65 percent allocated to the production sector.

In addition, the government targets 1.3 million new debtors as well as 1.1 million graduation debtors (class upgrade) in the KUR 2026 program.

KUR is a government subsidized financing program aimed at expanding access to capital for MSMEs with a loan ceiling of up to IDR 500 million.

Apart from KUR, Loto said the Ministry of MSME also carried out a number of programs to expand access to financing for business actors.

Through the Accelerating Capital Resources for Medium Enterprises (ACCESS) program, Loto said that by 2025 the government had facilitated financing for 56 medium-sized businesses with a total disbursement of Rp. 53.3 billion through eight partner financial institutions.

Meanwhile, the Business Worthy Funding (BISLAF) program initiated by the Deputy for Small Business has assisted 200 MSMEs in obtaining funding worth IDR 13.65 billion in collaboration with Inotek as a collaborative partner.

Loto added that the Ministry of MSME also carried out a financing assistance program to support the people's housing program with a target of reaching 300 MSMEs.

Until the first quarter of 2026, a total of 16 MSMEs have passed the curation process and two MSMEs have completed digitalization assistance for financial management.
