PLN Inaugurates The First Electric Vehicle Refueling Station In Eastern Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara/State Electricity Company (PLN) continues to support the realization of the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) ecosystem in Indonesia. This commitment was again seen with the inauguration of the first Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) at the gates of Eastern Indonesia, namely at the Mattoanging PLN Customer Service Unit (ULP) Office, Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Friday (11/6).

The Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, appreciated PLN's commitment to supporting the KLBB era by presenting the first SPKLU in Makassar.

Not only SPKLU Mattoanging, Director of Commerce and Customer Management at PLN, Bob Saril, said that he would continue to add more SPKLU locations around the city of Makassar.

"We will also continue to add SPKLU location points in the city of Makassar, such as in Public Space, Government Offices, Shopping Centers, Tourist Locations and Rest Areas", said Bob.

One of the Electric Vehicle (EV) users, Erwin, said he was happy with the presence of the first SPKLU in Makassar.

"The presence of SPKLU in Mattoanging is able to provide the best solution for us Electric Vehicle (EV) owners while making it easier to charge electric vehicles while traveling", said Erwin.
