Prabowo Prepares a Professional Team at the PU Ministry, Accelerates National Strategic Projects

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo revealed that President Prabowo Subianto will appoint officials at the I echelon from among professionals to strengthen the performance of the ministry, especially in encouraging the acceleration of national strategic projects.

Dody assessed that the appointment of professional officials was the key to ensuring priority programs such as infrastructure development and food self-sufficiency support ran optimally.

"Level I is the discretion of the President. I am sure he will choose the best professional sons and daughters to support crucial programs such as the People's School and others," said Dody while reviewing a project in Dharmasraya, West Sumatra, Wednesday, May 6.

He gave an example of the appointment of Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw as Director General of Water Resources (SDA) which was considered strategic because it was directly related to national food security.

"Director General of SDA, this is related to food self-sufficiency. So I think that helps me is a professional," he said.

Dody added that a number of important positions such as the Director General of Construction and Facilities and Infrastructure are still filled by acting (Plt), which has the potential to affect the acceleration of projects in the short term.

"It's true that there is none now, only the acting," said Minister Dody briefly.

It is known that the Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo appointed seven high-ranking middle-level officials in the Ministry of PU environment, Friday, May 1, 2026.

This inauguration is part of the effort to strengthen the organization and institutional adjustment to support the implementation of government priority programs.

The seven officials who were inaugurated consisted of the Secretary General, Director General, Head of Agency, and Expert Staff of the Minister who are expected to strengthen the implementation of strategic tasks in the PU Ministry environment.

The following are the officials who were inaugurated:

1. Apri Artoto as Secretary General

2. Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw as Director General of Water Resources

3. Bisma Staniarto as Head of the Human Resources Development Agency

4. Adenan Rasyid as Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development Agency

5. Rachman Arief Dienaputra as Expert Staff to the Minister for Social Culture and Community Role

6. Indro Pantja Pramodo as Expert Staff to the Minister for Economic and Investment Affairs

7. Pantja Dharma Oetojo as Expert Staff to the Minister for Development Integration
