JAKARTA - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk or Bank Jatim (BJTM) reported net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.54 trillion, or grew 20.65 percent compared to 2024 which was Rp1.28 trillion.
Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo said that the profit was supported by the distribution of loans (bank only) which managed to grow conservatively by 4.98 percent (year on year/yoy) or worth Rp67.24 trillion in the same period.
He added that the composition of credit distribution consisted of consumer loans of Rp. 36.54 trillion or increased by 6.20 percent (yoy) and productive loans of Rp. 30.7 trillion or increased by 3.55 percent (yoy).
Winardi said that in the midst of the dynamic economic conditions at various levels, management has implemented several strategies to maintain the performance of Bank Jatim's business and finances.
"Among others, balance in the management of Third Party Funds by increasing the ratio of cheap funds and also issuing bonds to support the Bank's stable fund portfolio," he said in a press conference, Monday, March 30.
In addition, he said Bank Jatim also made more selective loan distribution to prospective sectors in parallel with deepening the penetration of consumer credit business, discipline in arranging for income and expense positions through efficiency and increasing digital transactions to increase non-interest income, and aggressively controlling asset quality to match risk appetite.
He emphasized that his party also continued the journey of transformation through 5 main pillars, namely aspects of governance and risk management, optimization of ecosystem-based business, improvement of manpower competence as the main asset, strengthening of information technology and digitization of business processes, and optimization of business synergies for the bank's business groups.
Meanwhile, Bank Jatim's asset value in 2025 reached Rp105.8 trillion or grew 3.70 percent (yoy) with the composition of assets derived from the contribution of productive assets, including an increase in credit disbursement of Rp67.2 trillion or increased by 4.98 percent (yoy), treasury business management, to third-party funds which grew by 1.43 percent (yoy).
Winardi added that in 2025, the focus of management is on the penetration of cheap funds by using the transaction banking approach pattern and also based on the ecosystem business to increase the number of funds and also the number of customers.
According to him, this is reflected in the performance of third-party funds such as giro of Rp. 21.4 trillion or increased by 12.5 percent (yoy).
Then from the Number of Accounts (NoA) side, the increase in the number of customers was 5.64 percent (yoy) or a total of 10,915,749 Bank Jatim Third Party Fund customers.
He added that this good performance also supported the achievement of Bank Jatim's consolidated performance throughout 2025 which showed significant growth in various key indicators.
Bank Jatim's consolidated achievement in 2025 is a total asset increase of 42.93 percent (yoy), from Rp118,142 trillion in 2024 to Rp168,855 trillion in 2025.
Loan distribution also experienced strong growth, up 46.65 percent from Rp75.35 trillion to Rp110.503 trillion.
In line with this, Bank Jatim's consolidated net profit also recorded an increase of 24.80 percent (yoy), from Rp1,296 trillion in 2024 to Rp1,617 trillion in 2025.
"This achievement reflects the solid business fundamentals and the effectiveness of the company's strategy in driving sustainable growth," he said.
Winardi also emphasized that management continues to strive to improve asset quality through several steps, namely by implementing a book write-off mechanism of IDR 1.03 trillion with a recovery rate of 18.6 percent or equivalent to IDR 192 billion and restructuring as a step to save debtors who have deteriorated collectibility.
The total credit that has been restructured by Bank Jatim is IDR 4.17 trillion.
In addition, Winardi said the company was also aggressively carrying out extracomtable billing incentives to stimulate an increase in revenue from write-off credits, providing interest and fine relief to encourage debtors to make repayments, to partial repayment of collateral and flexibility in the settlement of collateral redemption for acceleration of credit settlement.

As for JConnect itself, throughout 2025 it managed to score a positive figure where JConnect Mobile users successfully reached 993,972 users or grew 22.40 percent (yoy).
Meanwhile, the total transaction was at Rp65.77 trillion, up 29.55 percent (yoy).
Meanwhile, JConnect IB Corporate users are at 11,199 or up 14.79 percent (yoy) with a total transaction of Rp. 23.36 trillion.
Then, QRIS Bank Jatim itself has reached 203,725 users with a transaction value of Rp3.94 trillion or grew 47.25 percent (yoy).
