JAKARTA - The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has set operational arrangements for crossing transportation during the New Year's Day Celebration of Saka 1948 in 2026.

The SKB was signed by the Directorate General of Land Transportation and the Directorate General of Maritime Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation, the National Police Kakorlantas, and the Directorate General of Road Construction of the Ministry of Public Works.

Director General of Land Transportation, Ministry of Transportation, Aan Suhanan, said that crossing services to and from Bali will be temporarily suspended during the Nyepi period.

"In connection with Nyepi Day, crossing services to and from Bali will be temporarily closed. Aan said that the closure of operations was imposed on the Ketapang Port-Gilimanuk Port and Padang Bai Port-Lembar Port crossings.

Ketapang Port: Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 17.00 to Friday, March 20, 2026 at 06.00 local time. Gilimanuk Port: Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 05.00 to Friday, March 20, 2026 at 06.00 local time. Lembar Port: Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 21.00 to Friday, March 20, 2026 at 01.30 local time. Padang Bai Port: Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 04.00 to Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11.30 local time.
