Former Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati is rumored to be teaching directly in the World Leaders Fellowship Program at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, England

JAKARTA - Former Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati is rumored to be teaching directly in the World Leaders Fellowship Program at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, England and is scheduled to start teaching for one year starting next year.

Through the official Blavatnik School of Government website, it is stated that Sri Mulyani will share her knowledge and experience with students and alumni through a guidance session.

He will also share his experience with world leaders and explore various innovative approaches to governance.

"It is an honor for me to join the Blavatnik School of Government as World Leaders Fellow at the University of Oxford, an institution that brings together various perspectives to reflect public policies and the challenges of governance faced around the world," Sri Mulyani said in a statement on the official website, Wednesday, December 10.

"I hope to contribute wisely to this community, share my experiences while continuing to learn, and support the next generation of policymakers as they prepare to lead with integrity, competence, and dignity in an increasingly complex environment," he continued.

The Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government, Ngaire Woods, said that his party was very enthusiastic about the presence of Sri Mulyani, who was considered to have an extraordinary track record in the preparation of global economic policies.

"Our students come from more than 60 countries around the world to hone their skills in public services, including elected positions, and I am happy that they will have the opportunity to learn from them," he said.

In addition, Blavatnik highlighted his work as the first Minister of Finance to serve under three Indonesian Presidents in a row, as well as the World Minister of the Year award he received in 2018.

Blavatnik juga mengungkapkan bahwa Sri Mulyani pernah menjabat sebagai Direktur Pelaksana dan Kepala Operasional Bank Dunia, di mana ia mengawasi berbagai operasi global lembaga tersebut.

Blavatnik also revealed that Sri Mulyani had served as Managing Director and Head of World Bank Operations, where she oversees various global operations of the institution.

In that role, he worked closely with client countries and members to face development challenges, as well as support the World Bank's mission to reduce poverty and promote mutual prosperity.
