Project Manager of NPEA Section II, Ikhsan Budi Prasetyo, revealed that the level of project complexity does not only come from technical aspects, but also from field conditions.

To answer these challenges, PTPP implemented a comprehensive engineering approach, ranging from the involvement of experts and on-site design teams, strict evaluation of subcontractors, to a series of intensive socialization and coordination with stakeholders, including representatives of the fishing community.
Land investigations are carried out thoroughly to anticipate geotechnical risks, while material supply management (beton, steel, CSP, girder and other manufacturing components) is carried out under strict supervision to ensure smooth logistics in the field.
With a design & build scheme for 20 months, the project is run through an integrated planning system and periodic surveillance to ensure safety, timeliness, and construction quality.
The development of the NPEA Section II also contributes to the achievement of Asta Cita Pemerintah, especially in an effort to strengthen national logistics connectivity, encourage efficient equitable development, and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian ports in regional areas.
