JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, continues to show its commitment to national strategic infrastructure development through the Tanjung Priok Timur Baru Port Access Development project / New Priok Eastern Access (NPEA) Section II.

This infrastructure will be a special route (dedicated access) that connects the Kalibaru Port area with a more efficient national logistics network. In line with the implementation of the project, PTPP together with PT Pelindo and PT Access Pelabuhan Indonesia (API) also held a Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) for the Kalibaru fishing community and residents of RW 04 Cilincing. The TJSL program took place on November 11 -14, 2025 and involved Cooperatives and Fishermen's KUB Kalibaru.

The assistance provided includes fishing gear and boat engines based on the aspirations of fishermen, as well as social facilities support in the form of rejuvenation materials for the RT014 prayer room, chairs, CCTV, and sound systems for RW needs. This initiative is a tangible manifestation of PTPP's contribution in supporting the pillars of No Credit and Partnership for the Goals within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, explained that Section II of NPEA has a strategic role in supporting the smooth flow of logistics at Tanjung Priok Port.

This infrastructure is here as a solution to the density of truck traffic in the Priok area as well as strengthening operational services at Kalibaru Port. PTPP is committed to presenting a safe, modern, and long-term oriented construction, "said Joko, in his statement, Tuesday, December 2.

The 3.8 km long project uses a variety of flagship construction methods, including: Maritime Design using Piling Crane, Barge, and LCT Total Installation of Concert Box Balance Cantilever with a 70-meter\times 2-spant steel bridge traveling system in the sea area using Strand Jacktured Concrete I Girder Installation with cranes and launchers

The diversity of structures is one of the strengths of this project, because almost all types of modern bridges are implemented, ranging from SOP, Concrete I Girder, Concrete Box Girder, Steel I Girder, to Steel Box Girder. Hel makes NPEA Section II one of the infrastructure networks with the highest technical complexity in the Tanjung Priok Port area.

Project Manager of NPEA Section II, Ikhsan Budi Prasetyo, revealed that the level of project complexity does not only come from technical aspects, but also from field conditions.

"The design must comply with the recommendations of the Bridge Safety and Road Tunnel Commission, the conditions of the soil are very diverse, and the work location is in an active area of fishermen and a tied area. All of this requires very careful planning and execution," he explained.

To answer these challenges, PTPP implemented a comprehensive engineering approach, ranging from the involvement of experts and on-site design teams, strict evaluation of subcontractors, to a series of intensive socialization and coordination with stakeholders, including representatives of the fishing community.

Land investigations are carried out thoroughly to anticipate geotechnical risks, while material supply management (beton, steel, CSP, girder and other manufacturing components) is carried out under strict supervision to ensure smooth logistics in the field.

With a design & build scheme for 20 months, the project is run through an integrated planning system and periodic surveillance to ensure safety, timeliness, and construction quality.

The development of the NPEA Section II also contributes to the achievement of Asta Cita Pemerintah, especially in an effort to strengthen national logistics connectivity, encourage efficient equitable development, and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian ports in regional areas.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, added that the combination of strategic infrastructure development and social programs is the value of the company's advantage in each of its projects.

"We ensure that the presence of the NPEA Section II project not only increases national logistics efficiency, but also provides direct benefits for communities living and working in the vicinity," said Joko.

With a commitment to the principles of sustainability, technology, and efficiency, PTPP continues to strengthen its position as a leading national construction company that has technical and social capabilities to support the acceleration of Indonesia's development in the future.
