Minister Of Industry Agus Calls 151 Business Permits Terbit Evidence PP28/2025 Makes Business Easy For Industry Players

Minister of Industry (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita assessed that the issuance of 151 business permits by and the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) proves that Government Regulation (PP) Number 28 of 2025 provides ease of doing business for industry players.

"One of the reasons for our thinking is the direction for the ease of doing business (easy business), including PP 28/2025," Agus said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, November 26.

At the same time, his party continues to reform policies through the Regulation of the Minister of Industry to simplify licensing, including regarding the Domestic Component Level (TKDN).

With this support, it is hoped that it can encourage business actors to be more confident in doing business in Indonesia.

"So, we have also reformed, issued new candy, such as reforms that we have signed related to TKDN," he said.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said that his party had issued 151 business licenses issued using a positive fictitious mechanism through One Single Submission (OSS) within two months.

He said the number of positive fictitious business licensing processes that had been in effect since the beginning of last month increased when compared to 132 business licenses as of October 17 this year.

According to Rosan, this step is one of the efforts to provide clear legal certainty for investors.

The legal basis for positive fictitious policies is contained in Law Number 6 of 2023 and PP 28/2025 concerning Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing.

Dengan adanya kepastian hukum yang jelas, katanya lagi, akan memberikan kepercayaan lebih bagi investor dan calon investor untuk menanamkan modal di Indonesia.

Selain itu, CEO Danantara itu mengatakan saat ini sistem perizinan dari 18 kementerian telah terintegrasi dalam OSS.

“Misalnya Kementerian Investasi ada perjanjian dengan Kementerian A, (proses perizinan) 10 hari. Kalau 10 hari mereka tidak kembali ke kami, otomatis izinnya saya keluarkan, karena kita sudah punya PP-nya (PP No. 28 Tahun 2025 tentang Penyelenggaraan Perizinan Berusaha Berbasis Risiko),” kata Rosan.

With clear legal certainty, he said, it would provide more trust for investors and potential investors to invest in Indonesia.

In addition, the Danantara CEO said that currently, the licensing system of 18 ministries has been integrated into the OSS.

"For example, the Ministry of Investment has an agreement with Ministry A, (the licensing process) is 10 days. If they don't return to us for 10 days, I will automatically issue the permit, because we already have the PP (PP No. 28 of 2025 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing)," said Rosan.
