Supported By Hauling Road, RMKO Successfully Transports Coal 916,000 Tons

JAKARTA - PT Royaltama Mulia Konthorindo Tbk (RMKO) said that if the operation of the hauling road facility connecting the two new mines, PT Wiraduta Sejahtera Langgeng (WSL) and PT Duta Bara Utama (DBU), marked a significant increase in performance for RMKO after the investment phase.

This integration significantly increases operational efficiency, with an additional coal volume of 724,000 tons since this facility operated in the first half of this year.

"This volume increase also had an impact on train loading volume which jumped by 74.1 percent yoy on 3Q 2025, an increase of 37.8 percent yoy to 916.000 tons by September 2025 period," said the President Director of PT Royaltama Mulia Konthorindo Tbk, Vincent Saputra in a statement to the media, Saturday, November 8.

He added that the new operating hauling road facilities not only improve operational performance, but also become the foundation for improving RMKO's financial performance.

Operating revenue shot up 19 percent yoy until the period September 2025, and in the third quarter of 2025, RMKO began to book a profit of IDR 4.3 billion. Management also managed to maintain a healthy financial ratio, with DER stable at 0.7 times.

"RMKO is starting to feel the positive impact of the completion and operation of the hauling road facility which has been connected to two new mines, WSL and DBU," he continued.

This road-hauling connectivity significantly increases operational efficiency, so that the company can continue to contribute to supporting government programs in terms of energy security at competitive costs amid pressure to reduce coal prices and unstable economic conditions.

Vincent said he was optimistic that the future prospects for RMKO through a strategy to develop hauling road connectivity with other potential mines would be key to increasing the volume of coal train loading.

"With this solid strategy, we believe RMKO will soon shift from the investment phase to a more mature phase of operation, as well as provide sustainable growth for all stakeholders," concluded Vincent.
