A Company Owned By The Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo Plans To Build AI Headquarters In India With Abhishek Tiwari

JAKARTA - MNC Group built an artificial intelligence (AI) headquarters in New Delhi, India to support MNC to become a global digital economy giant.

"MNC Group is building an office in New Delhi, India specifically for handling AI", said the Executive Chairman of MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo in a written statement, Thursday, May 20.

The head office, said the conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo, will be strengthened by human resources from software geniuses with high flight hours, one of which is Abhishek Tiwari.

"We have recruited Abhishek Tiwari as the MNC Group's Deputy Chief Technical Officer, specifically for artificial intelligence", said Hary.

Abhishek's presence will strengthen MNC's AI center in India. With 10 years of experience in the software field, with a master's degree in Computer Science from UP Technical University, India, he has worked in the field of AI for world-class information technology companies and financial institutions.

Abhishek started his career at Tata Consultancy Services as a software engineer. Then, Abhishek was noted to have worked as a software engineer at Credit Agricole, Citibank, Taiger Singapore. Finally, before joining MNC Group, Abhishek had a career at AlgoTrader, Singapore.

To note, MNC Group has prepared a strategy and implemented a roadmap for digital transformation in its various lines of business, both in the financial sector led by PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), property (PT MNC Land Tbk/KPIG), and the media (PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk / MNCN).

Meanwhile, AI encourages all business lines to be ready to become giants in their respective fields. In the financial services sector, Motion Digital, digital banking of PT Bank MNC International Tbk (BABP) - a business unit of BCAP - is preparing a digital bank that will become a giant in the country, with a target of at least 30 million customers in its first 5 years.

Motion Digital will optimize the conversion of more than 200 million userbase MNC Group into its customers.

"All MNC Group userbases, including television, portals, and social media reach more than 200 million userbases. The largest in the country", said Hary.

Motion Digital will have the most advanced & integrated digital services in the country through integration with other fintech, such as e-money, virtual credit cards, and channeling through Peer-to-Peer Lending Platforms.

Currently, MNC Bank is waiting for the digital onboarding permit for the Motion application to be approved by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
