JAKARTA - The Land Bank Agency and the North Maluku Provincial Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Optimizing State Land and Land Management in North Maluku Province.

This synergy is a strategic step to strengthen the management of state land assets while at the same time supporting the acceleration of regional development.

Furthermore, he added, one of the main focuses of this collaboration is to support the development of downstreaming of the coconut industry in North Maluku, which is in line with the efforts of local governments to strengthen national economic resilience through the processing of regional superior commodities.

North Maluku has great potential in the coconut plantation sector. With optimal land management support, we can create a sustainable coconut industry ecosystem, from upstream to downstream, and create new jobs for the community," he added.

The signing, he continued, is one of the efforts to strengthen land governance in North Maluku as well as a form of synergy between the central government, local government, and the private sector in realizing inclusive and sustainable economic development.
