Danantara Immediately Opens Financing Access For The Red And White Kopdes, Menkop Gives This Leak

Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono said there would be a signing of a Joint Decree (SKB) related to access to financing from the Danantara for the Red and White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes/Kel) tomorrow.

Ferry said the signing of the SKB would be carried out together with four ministries and one state institution.

"God willing, tomorrow we will sign the SKB of four ministries. The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Cooperatives, the Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions, the Ministry of Home Affairs plus with BP BUMN signed a Joint Decree for Danantara to open access to financing for the Red and White Villages/Sub-District Cooperative (Kopdes/Kel)," Ferry said in his remarks at the Investor Daily Summit entitled "New Economic Order" at the Jakarta Convention Center, Wednesday, October 8.

"And in it is about the mechanism for handing over authority to the Danantara to disburse loan ceilings to the construction of warehouses, outlets and including logistics equipment and working capital for the Red and White Kopdes/Kel," he added.

According to Ferry, so far the people in the village have not benefited significantly and are only objects.

"So far, the village community in the village has been saving money, at the latest deposits, the money has been brought to big cities by bank owners. Then the banking mechanism provides more business opportunities to apologize once again for the corporates. The villagers, yes, were just objects and others," he said.

Therefore, said Ferry, this condition is currently being changed through the Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih, so that it has access to financing.

"That has now been changed by the President, they have access to financing. Maybe in my opinion, from this perspective there is indeed a new economic order, if the political language is actually a revolution," said Ferry.
