JCI Rebound, Supported By Conglomerate Shares After Purchase Of Patriot Bond

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) ended trading Thursday, October 2, 2025, with an increase of 0.34 percent or 27.25 points to the level of 8,071.08. This strengthening occurred after the JCI weakened previously for two consecutive days.

The increase in JCI was supported by strengthening in seven of the eleven sectors recorded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

The sector with the highest increase includes the non-primary consumer goods sector which rose 2.24 percent, followed by the technology sector 1.13 percent, the property and real estate sector 1.07 percent, the financial sector 1.03 percent, the energy sector 0.81 percent, the raw goods sector 0.60 percent, and the primary consumer goods sector 0.48 percent.

Meanwhile, four sectors experienced weakening, namely the transportation sector fell 0.31 percent, the health sector 0.26 percent, the infrastructure sector 0.12 percent, and the industrial sector 0.07 percent.

Meanwhile, the total volume of share transactions on the IDX today was recorded at 43.02 billion shares, with a transaction value of Rp. 26.55 trillion and 321 stocks rose, 337 stocks fell, and 138 stocks did not change prices.

In addition, Boy Thohir's shares such as PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA) increased 4.00 percent to the level of IDR 650 per share and PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) rose 2.91 percent to IDR 2,120 per share entered the Top gainers on LQ45 on Thursday's trading, October 2, 2025.

Next, Anthony Salim's shares, namely PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) rose 0.30 percent to Rp284,900 per share and PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET) also rose 0.27 percent to the level of Rp9,150 per share.

Furthermore, Prajogo Pangestu's shares such as PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) rose 1.58 percent to Rp3,850 per share and PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO) also rose 1.89 percent to the level of Rp6,750 per share.

Then shares belonging to Sugianto Kusuma such as PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI) rose 5.21 percent to Rp14,650 per share and PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK) also rose 3.82 percent to the level of Rp6,800 per share.

The same shares belonging to Franky Widjaja such as PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI) rose 5.21 percent to Rp14,650 per share and PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses Tbk (CBDK) also rose 3.82 percent to the level of Rp6,800 per share.

Previously, 46 lists of document leaflets were circulated regarding the 46 list of Indonesian conglomerates as investors from Patriot Bond issued by Danantara, in the document, IDR 51.75 trillion was raised as of September 2025.

In the document, the names of Anthony Salim, Prajogo Pangestu, Sugianto Kusuma, Franky Widjaja, Boy Thohir and Edwin Soeryadjaya, Budi Hartono and Low Tuck Kwong became the top positions by buying patriot bonds worth IDR 3 trillion.

The rest, there are the names James Riady, Hilmi Panigoro, Gunawan Lim and Eddy Sariaatmadja by buying patriot bonds worth IDR 1.5 trillion each.
