Antam Aims To Sell 45 Million Tons Of Gold Throughout 2025

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) is targeting gold sales throughout 2025 of 45 tons.

President Director of Antam Achmad Ardianto said this followed the increasing public awareness regarding gold ownership.

"Alhamdulillah, the public is also increasing their awareness, so that our need to sell to the public continues to increase," said Didi, Ardianto's nickname in a Hearing Meeting with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Monday, September 29.

He explained that Antam managed to sell 37 million tons of gold throughout 2024.

Didi added that currently the company is targeting that the precious metal brand owned by Antam can remain the host of the pride of Indonesia.

Moreover, he said, currently Antam's precious metal controls approximately 78 percent of the retail gold market in Indonesia.

"We hope that we can maintain this. Of course, the goal is how so that the Indonesian people can easily have gold as an instrument from their portfolio," explained Didi.

Kata dia, jika saat ini fasilitas pemurnian emas milik Antam di Pulo Gadung memiliki kapasitas produksi mencapai 40 ton per tahun.

"Nah 40 ton itu dimurnikan semuanya di Pulo Gadung, kemudian dicetak menjadi kepingan-kepingan dan kemudian dijual kepada masyarakat. Semuanya di Pulo Gadung," tandas dia.

He said, currently Antam's gold refining facility in Pulo Gadung has a production capacity of up to 40 tons per year.

"Well, all 40 tons were refined in Pulo Gadung, then they were printed into pieces and then sold to the public. Everything was in Pulo Gadung," he said.
