JAKARTA - The rupiah exchange rate in trading Monday, September 29, 2025, is estimated to have the potential to strengthen against the United States (US) dollar.

Doo Financial Futures analyst Lukman Leong said that the rupiah exchange rate is expected to strengthen against the US dollar which tends to weaken after the release of US inflation data in accordance with estimates.

"The rupiah has the potential to strengthen against the corrected US dollar after US inflation data, which is in line with expectations, opens up opportunities for the Fed to cut interest rates," he told VOI, Monday, September 29.
