Vaccinations Start Today, Said Minister Of Health Budi, The Price Is IDR 321 Thousand

JAKARTA - Gotong royong vaccination (work together to achieve an outcome) starts today, Monday, May 17. Procurement of Gotong royong vaccination has been regulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 10 of 2021.

In Regulation of the Minister of Health, Gotong royong vaccination is the implementation of vaccination to employees, families, and other individuals in the family whose funding is charged to legal entities or business entities. Therefore, recipients of the Gotong royong vaccination program are free of charge or free of charge.

Citing several sources, President Director of Bio Farma Honesti Basyir said, there are currently two types of vaccines that will be used in mutual vaccination, namely Sinopharm and CanSino.

The procedure of injecting the Gotong royong vaccine is also performed twice with a certain time lag. Recipients of the Gotong royong vaccine will also get the same type of vaccine at the first and second injections.

The government officially set the purchase price of the COVID-19 vaccine for the Gotong royong vaccination program at IDR 321,660 per dose. This pricing has been signed by the Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin on May 11, 2021.

It is stated in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07/MENKES/4643/2021 concerning the Determination of the Purchase Price of Sinopharm Production Vaccine through the Appointment of PT Bio Farma (Persero) in the Implementation of COVID-19 Vaccine Procurement and The Maximum Tariff of Services for the Implementation of Gotong Royong Vaccination.

"The purchase price of vaccines amounted to IDR 321,660 per dose and the maximum rate of vaccination services was IDR 117,910 per dose", said the contents of the Ministerial Decree, quoted Sunday, May 16.

In the second dictum, it is mentioned that the purchase price of vaccines is the highest price of vaccines per dose purchased by legal entities/business entities, and includes a margin/profit of 20 percent.

"The distribution fee for franco districts/cities, but excluding value-added tax (VAT)", the Minister's decision read.

Also explained, the maximum rate of vaccination services is the highest limit or tariff per dose for Gotong royong vaccination services carried out by private Health Facilities. That includes a 15 percent margin but excludes income tax.

The amount of vaccine purchase price is also determined after getting views or assistance from the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Government Procurement Policy Institute, Financial and Development Supervisory Agency, experts/academics/professions, and/or law enforcement officials.
