Government Accelerates Credit Disbursement Process To Red And White Kopdes

The government is making efforts to accelerate the disbursement of loans (credit) to support the smooth operation of the Kelurahan Village Cooperative (Kopdes Kel) Merah Putih through Himbara banks.

Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono emphasized that the disbursement of credit urges village cooperatives to immediately operate and provide real benefits for the community. Through this financing support, the Red and White Kopdes/Kel will soon obtain working capital for the construction of outlets to business operations.

"We continue to accelerate the preparation of the procedures for disbursement and also the readiness of the Red and White Village Cooperative to carry out the loan application process to Himbara Bank in this case," said Coordinating Minister for Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono, Monday, September 22.

Currently, continued Ferry, Kemenkop and K/L, especially with Himbara Bank, are reviewing the thousands of business proposals submitted by Kopdes/Lel Merah Putih. His party will maximize various acceleration efforts so that the financing disbursement target can be achieved immediately before the end of 2025.

Through accelerating access to financing from Himbara Bank, Kopdes / Kel Merah Putih can operate faster, serve the needs of the village community, and create new jobs.

"It keeps speeding, we will do our best until the end of December, as soon as possible we hope to absorb jobs for people both in urban and rural areas (via Kopdes)," continued Ferry.

On the other hand, as a form of support for the smooth operation of the Kopdes / Kel Merah Putih, Ferry said that the Ministry of Cooperatives together with the Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (Kemendes PDT) are conducting an inventory of land and building assets in each village that can be used as a business outlet or warehouse by the Kopdes / Kel Merah Putih.

Meanwhile, PDT Village Minister Yandri Susanto expressed his support for efforts to accelerate the operation of the Red and White Kopdes/Kel, especially in terms of financing. In one or two days, his party will lead a special village meeting which will be held simultaneously throughout Indonesia to accelerate the disbursement of financing to the Red and White Kopdes/Lell.

In addition to financing, the government has prepared the construction of warehouses and cooperative outlets on village and sub-district land.

"We first focus on independent villages, as many as 20,503 villages, after that only developed and developed villages," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of BUMN Kartika Wirjoatmodjo emphasized that the Ministry of SOEs and BPI Danantara had prepared a financing disbursement scheme for the first phase. In addition, his party has also prepared an additional scheme to support investment needs from the Red and White Kopdes/kel for the long term.

"We are preparing the construction of outlets and warehouses, with financing through two instruments, namely SAL (More Budget Remains) and OIP (Government Investment Operator) which can be used effectively," Kartika said.
