Jabat COO Danantara, Dony Curhat Accused Of Betraying Erick Thohir

JAKARTA - The Acting Minister of SOEs and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, admitted that he had received accusations that he had betrayed Erick Thohir. He accepted this accusation after receiving the mandate at the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI).

This was conveyed by Dony in a shaking tone during the farewell ceremony of employees of the Ministry of SOEs with Erick Thohir who officially served as the new mandate as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora).

"Many people are wrong, suspect I betrayed you, suspect I left you. But only you know. Only you know how unfortunately I am with you," said Dony at the separation ceremony of employees of the Ministry of SOEs with Erick Thohir, at Danareksa Tower, Jakarta, Friday, September 19.

Dony said that after getting a new mandate in the Danantara, many people thought that they had different paths with Erick Thohir. In fact, Dony revealed that he continued to establish intensive communication with Erick Thohir.

"We love and love you, sir. We love Mr. Erick Thohir. We love Mr. Erick Thohir. Therefore, I will not be able to. Maybe, my friends don't know how intensively I communicate with Mr. Erick Thohir," he said.

On this occasion, Dony also expressed his gratitude to Erick Thohir for fostering him for four years. As a substitute for Erick, Dony promised that he would continue Erick Thohir's dream of transforming SOEs.

"God willing, what you aspire to, you leave it to us all, be it AKHLAK in leading the company, as well as your personality, and your good and humble, and warm dedication to everyone, we will definitely continue this," said Dony.

Dony also expressed his prayer for Erick to be successful in his new position as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora).

"On behalf of all BUMN employees, we would like to thank you very much for the teachings you have given for these 6 years. God willing, this will be our provision in the future. And we wish you success in a new place. You are protected by Allah SWT," said Dony.
