Traffic Engineering Trial TB Simatupang Starting Monday, Hutama Karya Prepares Alternative Paths

JAKARTA - Users of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) Section S which crosses the Simatupang TB area will certainly face changes in traffic patterns starting today, Monday, September 15 to Friday, September 19.

This is because the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has initiated a traffic engineering trial in the area which will have an impact on toll access from 17.00 to 20.00 WIB.

PT Hutama Karya (Persero) as the manager of the JORR Section S Toll Road, fully supports and has prepared a engineering scheme to ensure smooth running, especially during peak hours.

Head of the Jakarta Regional PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Untung Joko Ristyono said, for users who usually cross the Fatmawati 2 Toll Gate (GT) to the Pondok Indah Toll Exit, the engineering scheme will separate types of vehicles.

Class 1 (personal car) vehicles can still use the lane as usual, namely 1 transaction lane plus a special outer shoulder.

Meanwhile, Vehicles Class 2, 3, 4 and 5 (trucks, buses, etc.) must use alternative routes by being diverted to the Ciputat 2 Toll Gate.

"For this, we apologize for the inconvenience that arises," said Untung in a written statement, Sunday, September 14.

Hutama Karya has also taken proactive steps to help road users.

Among other things, installing special signs along the toll road to guide road users so that they don't get the wrong path.

In addition, road users are advised to monitor the latest information through the official social media channel @HutamaKaryaTollRoad or CCTV features available on the HK Toll Apps application.
