JAKARTA - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) will announce data updating in supporting the people's subsidy housing program, including the achievement of the 3 Million House Program launched by President Prabowo Subianto, in early September 2025.

The announcement is part of the government's efforts to ensure transparency and accuracy of data in overcoming housing backlogs in the country.

However, Head of BPS Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti emphasized that in developing accurate housing sectoral statistics, BPS could not announce raw data.

"On the other hand, BPS will continue to maintain the quality and integrity of data. Therefore, the process of announcing housing data will also be carried out in stages," said Amalia at the BPS office, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 26.

"Later, yes, we will update it early September," he continued.

Data integration platforms have also been prepared to collect data from various sources, including the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP), Bank Indonesia (BI), BP Tapera, PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero) or SMF and PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PNM.

According to Amalia, BPS will not accept data rawly, but will validate and verify to ensure validity and quality of data.

Although the data synchronization process is carried out in stages, PKP Minister Maruarar Sirait (Ara) is optimistic that this step will provide quantitative check and balance controls.

With large BPS resources, Ara believes the resulting data will be much more accurate.

"This is one of the indicators of progress that will be published transparently," he said.
