JAKARTA - The Selection Committee (Pansel) for the election of candidates for the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (DK LPS) for the period 2025-2030 has determined three names of candidates who will advance to the next stage.

The official announcement was made directly by the Chairman of the Pansel, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, who also served as Minister of Finance on August 1.

Aggressius R. Kadiaman

This seasoned Banker has extensive experience in the banking industry. Launching the official website of China Construction Bank Indonesia (CCB), Agresius has had a career in the banking world since 1991 and has worked in a number of large banks such as Citibank, Danamon, and Bank Bali.

He also served as Head of the Risk and Compliance Management Division at the National Bank Restructuring Agency (BPPN) in 2000.

M. Iman NHB Pinuji

Currently serving as a member of the BPJS Employment Supervisory Board, Iman has a fairly mature career footprint in the field of financial supervision. Previously, he had served as Director of the Accounting and Budget Group as well as Director of the Bank Resolution Analysis Group at LPS. The beginning of his career began as an auditor at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

Meanwhile, Purbaya Yudhi Sadive became a figure who attracted attention because of his close background with Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

Prior to serving as Chair of the current LPS Board of Commissioners, Purbaya had served as Deputy at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment led by Luhut.

He was also a Special Staff at the Ministry of Politics, Law, and Security as well as a Deputy at the Presidential Staff Office during President Joko Widodo's administration.

His closeness to Luhut is one of the factors that quite steals the attention in this selection process.

The name Purbaya is no longer foreign to the Palace environment in the era of President Joko Widodo.

Purbaya was often involved in making decisions on several strategic economic policies during President Joko Widodo's time.

After going through various rigorous selection stages, the LPS DK Pansel has set a total of six names, consisting of three candidates for Chairman and three candidates for DK members in the Bank Deposit and Resolution Guarantee sector, which were then handed over to President Prabowo Subianto.

Selanjutnya, nama-nama tersebut akan disaring dan dikirim ke DPR RI untuk menjalani proses uji kelayakan dan kepatutan (fit and proper test).

Proses ini penting untuk memastikan bahwa calon yang terpilih memiliki kompetensi, integritas, dan kemampuan memimpin lembaga strategis yang bertugas menjaga kestabilan sistem keuangan nasional.

Menanggapi proses seleksi anggota Dewan Komisioner LPS ini, Direktur Eksekutif Indef Esther Sri Astuti menekankan, proses pemilihan DK LPS harus mengedepankan asas independensi.

“Proses rekrutmen dan asesmen para calon juga harus berdasarkan kompetensi dan integritas. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari latarbelakang pengetahuan dan pengalamannya. Kompetensi bisa dilihat dari background knowledge dan experience-nya," ungkap Esther.
