JAKARTA - The Banda Aceh City Government has reopened President Joko Widodo's second phase of Micro Business Assistance (BPUM) registration in the form of working capital for micro-entrepreneurs in Banda Aceh during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The head of the Banda Aceh City SME and Trade Cooperative Office (Diskopukmdag) M Nurdin said the assistance came from the central government through the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs through the National Economic Recovery Program (PEN) which was stipulated by Government Regulation Number 23 of 2020.
"Recipients of aid are all micro-business actors affected by COVID-19 with an aid value of IDR 1.2 million, as well as to help continue the business," said M Nurdin, as quoted from Antara, Thursday, May 6.
The recipients of this assistance are specifically for business actors who have micro-business activities such as market traders, street vendors, home industries, household businesses, and others who are affected by COVID-19 and do not have access to Kur credit.
Nurdin said, this assistance has been opened online and offline until May 25, 2021, for online registration on the bit.ly/bpumbna2021 link, registration can be done by cellphone or computer, as well as offline at the Banda Aceh Diskopukmdag office.
"For offline registration, people only need to bring registration requirements, namely filling out the BPUM form, photocopy of ID card, KK, Business Identification Number (NIB) or Business Certificate (SKU) and a photo of themselves with business activities," he said.

To obtain this assistance, business actors must meet several predetermined requirements, namely native residents of Banda Aceh, owning a business that is included in the micro business category by uploading photos of business places/activities, having a NIB or SKU.
"Business actors do not work as members of the National Army (TNI)/Police (POLRI), State Civil Apparatus (ASN), State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN)/Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) employees and are not receiving KUR financing credit and are required to have an active contact/cellphone number that can be contacted," said Nurdin.
