JAKARTA - Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman Abdurrahman officially launched a program entitled Koplo Keliling (Kopling) which is the result of collaboration work from the Deputy for Small Business at the Ministry of MSMEs with Gajah Mada Entertainment.

MSME Minister Maman Abdurrahman said this program was present as a promotional breakthrough for MSMEs that combined art forces, especially koplo music, with local economic empowerment of the community.

"This is not just a music show, it's also just a showcase for MSMEs. This is a forum for positive collaboration, because it provides space for MSME artists and entrepreneurs to meet and grow together," said Maman, Friday, July 11.

The 2025 KOPLING program will be held at two points, namely Jakarta and Bogor, involving 300 to 500 MSME entrepreneurs from the culinary, craft and lifestyle sectors. In addition, the entertainment stage will feature national artists and local musicians, as well as present interactive booths from various superior programs of the Ministry of MSMEs such as People's Business Credit (KUR), Joint Production House, and MSME Digitization.

It is estimated that every implementation of KOPLING will suck up the participation of 20 to 25 thousand people.

This is expected to be able to create a significant local economic turnover, especially for micro and small entrepreneurs in the area of event implementation.

"COPLING is a space for promoting local products packaged in entertainment nuances that are popular with the community, as well as strengthening the campaign for the Proudly Made in Indonesia Movement and the National Movement to Buy Locals," said Maman.

He said, based on data from the Single Data Information System (SIDT) of the Ministry of MSMEs, it was recorded that around 4.6 million MSMEs came from the creative economy sector. Meanwhile, the latest surveys from GoodStatus and TSurvey.id show that 71 percent of Gen Z in Indonesia is a fan of koplo music.

"Why koplo? Because this is music that happens and is close to local wisdom. We want to bring a relaxed atmosphere that can be enjoyed by the wider community, while continuing to encourage purchasing power and pride in MSME products," he said.

Raising the tagline of 'Goyang Ambyar, Shining MSMEs', KOPLING is expected to be the new face of the Proudly Made in Indonesia campaign and the National Movement to Buy Locals which is more grounded, closer to the community, and blends with the lifestyle of the younger generation.

"This program is a form of a living collaboration space where MSMEs meet music, culture meet opportunities, and local products become national pride," said Minister Maman.

Minister Maman invited all levels of society to attend and support this program as a tangible form of collaboration between entrepreneurs, art activists, and the community in encouraging the economic progress of the people.

On the same occasion, the CEO of PT Sinergi Aksi Kreatif Gajah Mada Entertainment, Jemmy Tyonoto Rusman, said that through KOPLING it was a form of government support for the growth of the creative industry with MSME entrepreneurs.

"Through this event, we want to show that Koplo music is not only a hoax but also a creative economy forum that can grow with MSME entrepreneurs in the regions," he said.
