Jakarta Residents Get Additional Discounts From PLN On The 496th Anniversary

JAKARTA There is good news to welcome the 498th Anniversary of the City of Jakarta, PLN of the Greater Jakarta Distribution Main Unit (UID) launched a power added discount program entitled Gebyar 498 DKI Jakarta. This program offers a 50 percent discount on the cost of connecting additional electricity for low-voltage customers.

Promo is valid from June 19 to July 2, 2025, specifically for customers with an initial power of 450 VA to 5,500 VA who want to increase power to a maximum of 7,700 VA. Applications are made through the PLN Mobile application. Customers simply buy tokens or pay electricity bills to obtain discount voucher codes.

"We want to make it easier for Jakarta residents who need an increase in electricity, both for households and for their businesses," said General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Moch. Andy Adhaminordin as quoted in a written statement received Thursday, June 19.

Andy emphasized that vouchers only apply to one customer ID (IDPEL) and cannot be transferred. The goal is that the benefits of the program are right on target, reaching customers who really need it.

Not only did it stop there, PLN also deployed Mobile Marketing Cars that would visit dozens of strategic points in Jakarta. This car brings officers who are ready to help the community increase power at the location, as well as provide education about the use of the PLN Mobile application.

"We are not just digitizing services, but also going directly to the field to listen and help customers," Andy added.
