Ojol Asks The Ministry Of Transportation To Arrange Rules To Protect Drivers As Vulnerable Workers

JAKARTA - Dozens of online motorcycle taxi drivers have asked the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) to develop policies that protect drivers as vulnerable workers.

The ojol drivers also requested that there be regulations that ensure the safety of workers and legal protection.

"Supporting policies that protect drivers as vulnerable workers, including guarantees of work safety and legal protection," said Lamganda's Stock Action Public Relations.

Lamganda shares with the masses who are members of the Victim Aplikator also asked the government to evaluate and revise regulations related to online transportation which have been said to only benefit applicators.

The Ojol asked that there be no cheaper tariffs and a maximum applicator commission discount of 10 percent.

"The tariff is getting cheaper due to the high discounted applicator commission discount of more than 20 percent of the country's silence, the Ministry of Transportation is ignorant," said Lamanda Shares.

The shares also requested that there be an open dialogue space between the Government, applicators and drivers.

In the action, the masses brought various posters containing rejection of cheap tariffs and property gaps for application and ojol owners.
