Meanwhile, the growth of South Sumatra's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) according to the highest distribution expenditure, namely household consumption of 63.20 percent, Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) of 30.34 percent, and foreign export expenditure with a distribution of 17.61 percent.

The three components also grew positively by 4.91 percent for household consumption, 2.21 percent PMTB, and 25.02 percent for foreign exports.

"The expenditure on South Sumatra's economic growth is supported by foreign exports which amounted to 5.86 percent," he said.

He said that South Sumatra's position is currently in second place after Lampung in the highest economic growth on the island of Sumatra.

"Spatially in the first quarter of 2025, the economy of Sumatra Island was dominated by North Sumatra, Riau, and South Sumatra with a contribution of 60.48 percent," said Wahyu.
