JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir, paid a working visit to the Bali International Hospital (BIH) national strategic project in Sanur, Bali, to ensure the operational readiness of the hospital which will be inaugurated in the near future.

The project by PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) has now entered the final stage of physical progress which marks the operation of several international standard health facilities to serve the wider community.

During the visit, SOE Minister Erick Thohir was accompanied by PTPP President Director Novel Arsyad and his staff, directors from InJourney, Pertamedika IHC, and PT Hotel Internasional Sanur Indonesia.

"The presence of these SOE leaders shows the government's strong support for the presence of BIH as the main referral hospital in Indonesia, as well as supporting the transformation of the health sector and national medical tourism."

BIH is designed as a modern hospital with the concept of healing resorts combining world-class medical services with the comfort of Bali's natural environment. All major facilities are now ready for use, including: IGD with 12 treatment rooms and 4 treatment rooms Then outpatient and inpatient services with a total of 45 beds. Then 8 surgical rooms, 4 cateterization rooms, 18 intensive care rooms and 4 NICU rooms.
