SOE Minister Review Operational Readiness Bali International Hospital: International Standard Hospital Ready To Serve The Community

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir, paid a working visit to the Bali International Hospital (BIH) national strategic project in Sanur, Bali, to ensure the operational readiness of the hospital which will be inaugurated in the near future.

The project by PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) has now entered the final stage of physical progress which marks the operation of several international standard health facilities to serve the wider community.

During the visit, SOE Minister Erick Thohir was accompanied by PTPP President Director Novel Arsyad and his staff, directors from InJourney, Pertamedika IHC, and PT Hotel Internasional Sanur Indonesia.

"The presence of these SOE leaders shows the government's strong support for the presence of BIH as the main referral hospital in Indonesia, as well as supporting the transformation of the health sector and national medical tourism."

BIH is designed as a modern hospital with the concept of healing resorts combining world-class medical services with the comfort of Bali's natural environment. All major facilities are now ready for use, including: IGD with 12 treatment rooms and 4 treatment rooms Then outpatient and inpatient services with a total of 45 beds. Then 8 surgical rooms, 4 cateterization rooms, 18 intensive care rooms and 4 NICU rooms.

Others that are also operational are superior CONGO services: Cardiology, Oncology, Neurology, Gastroenterohepatology, and Orthopedics. There are also other special services such as gym rehab facilities specifically for injury recovery, especially for athletes.

What needs to be known is that the first Bali International Hospital (BIH) in Indonesia as a hospital that opens up opportunities for diaspora doctors, namely doctors with Indonesian citizens from various countries to return to practice in Indonesia. As on his visit, the Minister of SOEs met one of the diaspora doctors who had been in school 24 years and worked in Germany, currently returned to Indonesia and became a doctor at BIH.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, emphasized that BIH is one form of PTPP's real contribution in supporting improving the quality of national health services.

"We ensure that this project runs with the best quality, efficient, and timely. BIH will be a symbol of BUMN collaboration in providing superior health services in world-class tourist destinations," said Joko, in a written statement, Wednesday, April 23.

As a state-owned construction company that has been established since 1953, PTPP has a strong track record in national infrastructure development and continues to innovate through the use of technology such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the ERP system that supports project efficiency and accuracy.
