Efficient But Received IDR 100 Trillion, Head Of BGN: IDR 200 Billion Nothing

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana, revealed that the National Nutrition Food (MBG) program was also affected by this year's budget efficiency program of IDR 200 billion. Despite being exposed to efficiency, his party still received funds of IDR 100 trillion from the government.

"So we have an efficiency of Rp. 200 billion. But in September, we were promised an additional Rp. 100 trillion. So Rp. 200 billion is nothing," said Dadan after conducting an MoU with the Ministry of Public Works, Saturday, March 22.

Dadan said, there are three keys to the implementation of the progra, MBG, including budget, human resources (HR) and infrastructure. Regarding the budget, he said, there is no need to question it because President Prabowo Subianto will definitely fulfill it.

"So if the others are streamlined, the Nutrition Agency will be streamlined slightly, added more," he continued.

For this reason, he hopes that the MBG program can be received by 82.9 million beneficiaries from school children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.

"Because we hope that with a massive investment of the government in Indonesia, this future, quality human resources will be produced in 2045," he continued.

At the same time, Dadan also revealed that currently BGN has 1,050 SPPGs with 100 percent of partners from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

"Alhamdulillah, in the meantime we already have 1,050 SPPGs (until) the end of this week, and that is a total of 100 percent contribution from partnerships (MSMEs)," added Dadan.

In the future, Dadan targets to build 1,542 SPPGs whose construction will focus on the Outermost, Frontier, and Disadvantaged (3T) areas.

"Well, the APBN is now ready. We will build 1,542 SPPG which we focus on in areas like that," explained Dadan.

He further added that MSMEs that are BGN partners to distribute MBG in 3T areas tend to experience difficulties in presenting this free meal program because they will only target 300 beneficiaries.

Regarding the planned construction of 1,542 SPPGs, Dadan admitted that he needed assistance from the Ministry of Public Works regarding planning, implementation, as well as monitoring of the MBG kitchen infrastructure.

"Because the Minister of Public Works is indeed competent in that field, and we want the acceleration to be carried out and follow the rules contained in the Minister of Public Works Regulation number 1 of 2020," said Dadan.
