Head of BPS Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti said the import value of oil and gas (oil and gas) in February 2025 was USD 2.87 billion, an increase of 15.5 percent compared to January 2025 worth USD 2.48 billion.

Meanwhile, the value of non-oil and gas imports in February 2025 was US$16 billion, an increase of 3.52 percent compared to January 2025 worth US$15.45 billion.

Amalia said that the import value in February 2025 increased by 2.30 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the same period in the previous year which was worth 18.44 billion US dollars.

"The value of non-oil and gas imports rose 3.47 percent but oil and gas imports fell by 3.76 percent," he said.

Amalia said the increase in the annual import value was also driven by an increase in non-oil and gas imports, which contributed to an increase of 2.91 percent.
