Sri Mulyani Reveals Reasons For The Suspension Of The 2025 January 2025 State Budget Performance Report

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati explained the delay in the January 2025 edition of the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) report due to the unstable data due to various factors.

"There are many questions from media friends why at that time in February it was not carried out for January, maybe to explain several things related to the implementation of the APBN at the beginning of the year, which we see the data is still very unstable due to various factors, both in terms of spending and implementing income and financing," Sri Mulyani said at the KiTa State Budget press conference, Thursday, March 11.

Sri Mulyani said that the government decided to wait for more stable data before reporting the performance of the 2025 State Budget on a much more stable basis.

"Maybe if the term is mango with mango, so there is no possibility of misinterpretation," he explained.

Sri Mulyani said that the 2025 State Budget is the first state financial instrument under the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

Previously, the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) had previously uploaded a report on the realization of the state budget (APBN) as of January 31, 2025, commonly known as our APBN on the official website of the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.

However, the document was immediately removed from the site after it was uploaded.

Head of the Communication and Information Services Bureau (KLI) of the Ministry of Finance Deni Surjantoro confirmed this because it was more comprehensive in order to convey it at today's press conference.

"It will be taken down first because it happens that the APBN press conference will be pushed forward tomorrow at 10 am, so the intention is that tomorrow our APBN can be explained more comprehensively," he said, Wednesday, March 12.
