JAKARTA - In an effort to support the free nutritious food program being launched by the government, Cahaya Manthovanani and the Pelita Bangsa Inclusion Foundation held an action to share nutritious healthy food and basic necessities with students at the 7 Jakarta State Special School (SLBN).
Cahaya Manthovani, a sociopreneur who is active in social issues and persons with disabilities, said that this step is a form of concern for SLB students who still do not fully get the opportunity in a free nutritious eating program.
"We want to make sure these children continue to get healthy and nutritious food intake, because good nutrition is very important to help them to be more enthusiastic about learning, focus more and develop more optimally," he said.
On this occasion, as many as 268 State SLB 7 students received basic food packages, while 340 free nutritious food packages with a menu that maintains nutritional quality, especially in the month of Ramadan, were distributed to students and participants present.
The selection of the Jakarta State 7 SLB as the location of the activity is not without reason. Cahaya explained that this school had previously run a similar program and was ready to manage aid effectively.

Meanwhile, comedian Aden Bajaj who was present at the event also admitted that he was very inspired by the initiation carried out by Cahaya Manthovanani and the Pelita Bangsa Inclusion Foundation by sharing and meeting directly with students of SLB Negeri 7 Jakarta.
"I see a lot of my friends, but they are still enthusiastic about fighting and learning. This is a slap for me personally and all of us. Instead of spending our money on things that are not clear, it is better for us to collect and donate to those in need," said Aden.
Aden also invited more people to get involved in social activities like this.
"The activities carried out by the Pelita Bangsa Inclusion Foundation are very good and open the eyes of all of us that there are still many people who need it. This could be a new insight for us, that sharing means a lot," he added.
