The Ministry of Manpower issued a Circular regarding the provision of Eid 2025 Bonuses (BHR) for online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) and couriers.
In this circular, the Minister of Manpower, Yassierli said the amount of BHR given was up to 20 percent of the average income in 12 months.
The driver who is entitled to a 20 percent BHR bonus is a productive and well-performing driver.
"For drivers and couriers who are productive and perform well, religious holiday bonuses are given proportionally according to performance in cash with a calculation of 20 percent of the average monthly net income over the past 12 months," Yassierli said at a press conference at the Office of the Ministry of Manpower, Tuesday, March 11.
Meanwhile, ojol drivers and couriers outside the category will be given religious holiday bonuses according to the ability of application companies.
"The bonus for religious holidays is given no later than 7 days before the holiday," he continued.
Yassierli juga menegaskan, pemberian BHR ini tidak boleh menghilangkan dukungan kesejahteraan bagi pendudi dan kurir online sesuai dengan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang telah diberikan oleh perusahaan aplikasi.
He further said that the decision to give BHR was taken after going through negotiations for 4 months by involving application companies and driver representatives and online couriers.
