JAKARTA - PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk responded to changes in the board of directors of its subsidiary, PT Citilink Indonesia. The change is because the term of office of the board of directors has been completed.
Director of Commerce Garuda Indonesia Ade R Susardi said the term of office of directors of Citilink itself is valid for three years. Currently, he said, Garuda Indonesia's internal position is also discussing the change of position.
"If we have a long process. We have to go to BUMN, also at the commissioners. But the replacement (directors) is normal. The term of office has also been completed, there will be something new or old but not certain," he said when met at the Ministry of SOEs, Jakarta, Thursday, March 6.
Ade said that currently there are names included in the list of candidates for directors. He said the change did not only occur at the helm of Citilink Indonesia but the plan for several nomenclatures would also be changed.
"There are some (Candidates)," he said.
Separately, Head of Corporate Communication Dicky Irchamsyah said that currently the process of changing directors is still in the proposed stage and discussed with relevant stakeholders. Including, with Garuda shareholders.
"So it's still in discussion, there must be names. But it's not right time for us to be able to disclose to the public until now, indeed the appointment period has already taken effect," said Dicky.
