Get Ready, Registration For Batch 17 Pre-employment Cards Will Be Opened

JAKARTA - The Pre-Employment Card Program has been running until batch 16 since it was first launched. The Executive Management (PMO) will open registration for batch 17 of the Pre-employment Card program. However, the management has not yet given an exact date when the registration will be opened.

The PMO Executive Director for the Pre-Employment Card, Denni Puspa Purbasari, said that the Pre-Employment Card Program batch 17 would take advantage of the quota of participants whose membership was revoked from the previous batch.

Furthermore, Denni said that participants were revoked because they bought the first training within 30 days after being determined as recipients of the Pre-Employment Card and receiving training incentives.

"So, friends who have not received the Pre-Employment Card program are patient, we will open waves of 17 who will take advantage of this, which were not used (the incentives)," he said in a virtual discussion, Thursday, April 22.

Management revokes 29,000 members of the Pre-Service Card participants

Denni said that as many as 29,000 people had their participation removed from three waves, namely waves 12, 13, and 14. This was in accordance with the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy (Permenko) Number 11 of 2020 concerning the Development of Work Competence through the Pre-Employment Card Program.

The regulation states, if within 30 days after receiving the Pre-Employment Card training money, participants have not used it to buy training, then their membership status will be revoked.

"So this of course does not take advantage of the Pre-employment Card. This is of course regrettable, why have you registered, you have received (incentives), but how come you don't take advantage of the assistance that has been given," he said.

Furthermore, said Denni, the incentives for the participants who died were returned to the state treasury. PMO takes advantage of the collected incentive funds to open the next batch, including batch 17 later.

As is known, previously the PMO has opened a batch of 16 Pre-Employment Card registrations on Thursday, March 25th and closed on Sunday March 28th. The quota for wave 16 was 300 thousand people. This amount is the remainder of the total quota for the first semester of 2021, namely 2.7 million participants.
