This Is Ahmad Dhani's Response To Dewa 19 Invited To Launch A Logo Of The Ministry Of PKP

JAKARTA - Gerindra Party musician and politician Ahmad Dhani opened his voice about the Dewa 19 concert at the launching event or the launch of the ministry's new logo today.

In fact, President Prabowo Subianto has instructed all ministries and institutions to carry out budget efficiency.

So, did Dewa 19's concert at the Ministry of PKP's event use the APBN?

Ahmad Dhani also opened his voice. He admitted that the presence of Dewa 19 on the agenda was purely their desire.

The reason, Ahmad Dhani said, in 2024 the band he led had received many stage offers from SOEs and the government.

Thus, Mulan Jameela's husband has no problem if currently Dewa 19 performs without being paid on the agenda.

"Yesterday, in 2024, Dewa 19 got a lot of jobs from SOEs and the government. Now it's okay to be free once in a while. Later in 2026 we will get more," Ahmad Dhani told reporters at the Public Works Ministry Auditorium, Jakarta, Friday, February 21.

He then conveyed the reason Dewa 19 wanted to appear without any payment.

According to Ahmad Dhani, this is indeed due to budget efficiency.

"(The reason) is because Bang Ara said there was no budget, (because) efficiency," he said.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait (Ara) said that he and Ahmad Dhani were old friends. So, said Ara, not everything is related to money.

"Look, if we are friends, not all money matters. We used to be political, now we are united," said Ara.

"In fact, he was the first Gerindra cadre. I was just in Gerindra, he was my senior," he added.

Previously, a photo of an invitation to launch a logo filled with Dewa 19's appearance at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Public Works, Jakarta, was uploaded to the X @BosPurwa account on Thursday, February 20.

"Efficiency? god's performing of art 19," reads the account's statement.

Then, the post became the spotlight of netizens because it was held in the midst of government efficiency policies through budget cuts.

"That's what you think, don't you think? It's more unemployed, you know," commented the account @lit ***.

"Long live efficiency," reads the account comment @art*****.

"What is the urgency to change the logo? Just waste the budget," wrote the account comment @ren****.

"Only launching the logo of Dewa 19," commented the account @mika*****.

The Ministry of PKP's budget this year is set at IDR 3.46 trillion.

Previously, the ministry led by Ara received an allocation of IDR 5.27 trillion.

However, the state institution's budget was cut by Rp1.81 trillion after President Prabowo Subianto instructed budget savings through Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025.
