Deputy Minister Of Cooperatives Ensures That The Association Is Ready To Support Economic Advancement Through Cooperatives

Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop) Ferry Juliantono stated that the Association of Indonesian State Alumni Organizations (Himpuni) is ready to support the government to advance the national economy through strengthening cooperatives.

"Hopefully, in the future, the Minister of Cooperatives can become a great strength in supporting the journey of government priority programs," said the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives as reported by ANTARA, Friday, February 21.

He, who also serves as Secretary General of Presidium Himpuni, stated that the organization was needed to realize cooperatives as a tool for accelerating national economic growth.

Given that pentahelix's cooperation consisting of elements of the government, the private sector, academics, media and communities is the main key in efforts to achieve development targets in the country.

Ferry assessed that Hempuni has enormous potential in an effort to accelerate development in Indonesia because its members reach thousands of people from 51 State High Universities in Indonesia.

Thus, the availability of competent human resources in various fields makes it a forum for strategic alumni organizations to form partnerships with the government.

"We will support whatever is best for the government because it is now a great strength to contribute to the success of government programs," he said.

He hopes that He can have a joint business entity in the form of a cooperative.

With the cooperative for the set, it is considered that it will provide greater benefits for members and the community, especially in the economic field.

Previously, the Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) was optimistic that the cooperative transformation program could run well if it received support and cooperation from various parties, including academics such as the Association of Indonesian State Alumni Organizations (Himpuni).

Ferry said the cooperative transformation program was also directed to support the Asta Cita Presiden Prabowo Subianto program, namely food self-sufficiency, development of cooperative-based agro maritime industries and industrialization of downstream through cooperatives.
