Not Just Manly, Jetour T2 i-DM's Boxy Adventure Design Philosophy Prioritizes Function

JAKARTA - PT Jetour Sales Indonesia introduces the Jetour T2 i-DM as an adventurous plug-in hybrid SUV (PHEV) that combines technology, performance, and distinctive design to meet today's mobility needs. Carrying the Boxy Adventure Design philosophy that is the identity of the T Series line, this model not only relies on Intelligent Dual Mode (i-DM) technology for driving efficiency, but also offers a tough exterior look and a premium interior with a focus on comfort, practicality, and functionality.

"Every design element is designed not only to present a strong character, but also to provide comfort and functionality so that it can support various journeys, from daily activities in the city to long-distance adventures," he continued.

In terms of design, the Jetour T2 i-DM adopts a boxy silhouette with a three-box body proportion concept that presents a sturdy and functional appearance. The roof line is straight and firm to strengthen the character of the adventurous SUV, combined with horizontal lines and dominant vertical elements.

The concept is consistently applied to the design of the headlights, rearview mirrors, to the conventional door handles so as to produce a recognizable appearance, both when used in urban environments and for long-distance travel. The visual identity of this SUV is also strengthened through the design of the front and rear lights which are inspired by the Chinese lantern philosophy.

The touch of vertical and horizontal lines gives a futuristic impression while representing a combination of modern technology with cultural elements. The body color choices also take inspiration from natural nuances, including Highway Gray, Carbon Crystal Black, Khaki White, Aviation Silver, and Electroplated Green which reflect the adventurous character as well as a modern lifestyle.

In terms of functionality, the Jetour T2 i-DM is equipped with various lighting technologies such as Matrix Auto Headlight, Intelligent High Beam, Follow Me Home, Welcome Light Animation, and Foglight & Cornering Light. This system is claimed to be able to provide lighting up to 200 meters with a light spread of up to 28 meters when the distant lights are active, thus helping to increase visibility when driving on low-light paths and mountain terrain.

The ability to transport goods is also one of its selling points. The roof rack of the Heavy Duty Luggage Rack type is able to support a load of up to 300 kilograms in a static condition, while the luggage capacity reaches 1,494 liters when the second row seat is folded.

Its dimensions consist of a length of 4,785 mm, a width of 2,006 mm, a height of 1,875 mm, a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, and a ground clearance of 210 mm which supports the tough SUV character. Entering the cabin, the Jetour T2 i-DM offers spacious space with wide visibility. This SUV is also equipped with a Wading Radar feature that can detect the depth of puddles up to 700 mm to help drivers when crossing flooded roads.

The use of 20-inch rims wrapped in Highway Terrain tires is also designed to remain comfortable to use in various road conditions. The premium atmosphere in the cabin is further felt thanks to the 64-inch panoramic skyroof combined with 64-color ambient light.

The Ventilated Seat and Memory Seat features also increase the comfort of the driver and passengers, while the 24-Hour Parking Air Conditioning allows the cabin cooler to continue operating even when the engine is off, providing comfort when the vehicle is used for rest or picnics.
